Thierry Bièvre, President of Elithis, a company specialized in consulting and building engineering, is at the origin of the first residential building in the world which produces more energy than it consumes: the Elithis Danube tower in Strasbourg. He explains how the building works, its modest cost and the savings the 60 tenants make in energy bills. As a result of this project, Elithis changed its size, multiplied by 5 its staff and developed internationally. The company is now tackling a new challenge: building a 60-meter wooden tower in the Paris region to meet the climate challenges of the future.
